About

What are the rules?

  • Join if you like magic!
  • Put the webring links on your site.
  • No bigotry/hate speech.

How do I join?

  1. Add the following webring HTML somewhere on your site:

    <a href="https://spellcircle.neocities.org/YOUR_SLUG/previous">←</a>
    🔮 <a href="https://spellcircle.neocities.org">Spellcircle</a> 🧙
    <a href="https://spellcircle.neocities.org/YOUR_SLUG/next">→</a>

Replace YOUR_SLUG with a keyword representing your site - for example, I use the slug Gil for my website gil.ink. As long as you keep the link targets the same, you may style them however you'd like.

  2. Create an issue on Github with the join template. The join template will ask for all the information required to add you to the webring.
    • or if you're confident with Git, you can make a pull request adding your website to websites.json
    • or you can make an email request to spellcircle@gil.ink using this template, leave a comment on Neocities, or message me elsewhere.
  3. That's it! If your request is approved, you will be added right away.

How do I leave?

You can contact me to leave the webring and I'll remove you right away. You can also remove your webring links from your page, although it may take longer to be reflected on the homepage.
